NIFT Bhopal –
The Bhopal center is one of the latest additions to the existing countrywide gamut of NIFT. IT started functioning from June 2008, from its transit campus situated in Bhoj (Open) University, Kolar Road, in the heart of Bhopal city.

The present campus is located within 5 KM from Habibganj railway station, 13 KM from Bhopal railway station and 19 KM from Raja Bhoj airport, Bhopal. IT is well connected to every part of the city through city bus and autorikshaws, apart from the student bus of the institute. Security is of prime importance in the institute, which is also a strictly non smoking zone.

The entrance of the campus is heavily surrounded by trees and plantations maintained by government authorities, which protect it from the air and noise pollution of the city. The ‘Kaliya Sot’ dam is located at the rear end of the campus and the Kolar river, a tributary of Narmada, flows alongside the campus. All these together make up the delicate picturesque beauty of the campus.

At present NIFT Bhopal centre offers two programmes of Bachelor of Design “Textile Design” and “Accessory Design” and one programme of “Master of Fashion Management” courses. The institute boasts of eminent and experienced faculty to facilitate quality education from the very commencement of the center.

The institute has successfully established close contact and association with eminent personalities in the field of art and design who offer their inputs as visiting faculty to the students of the center. Due to its location advantage, the center is well networked with the industry for placements, training, workshops and interactions. In short time, the institute has positioned itself as a leader in fashion education in the state through education and by organizing student activities that give them exposure at the national level.
